PSI is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with Revit/AutoCAD Drafting experience to join our growing team of nearly 100 employees. To be successful in this position, the qualified candidate must be experienced in reading and interpreting plans and specifications, have at least 2 years of experience with Autodesk and/or creating 3D drawings using Revit, be highly organized and able to problem solve to ensure deadlines are met, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Essential Job Duties:
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications and other documents with great attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure their needs are being met
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget, and without errors.
  • Prepare, submit and track product data submittals
  • Identify, draft and track RFI’s
  • Create shop drawings and process for approval
  • Detail plans and generate initial material orders
  • Assist field teams with supplemental material orders and delivery coordination
  • Assist Project Managers by drafting/processing change orders
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure their needs are being met
  • Responsible for document control of all active projects

  • At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project Engineer
  • At least 2 years of experience using Autodesk and/or Revit software
  • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and civil plans
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and prioritize deadlines in order to manage critical path workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be an organized and detail-oriented problem solver with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Must be a reliable, accountable and self-motivated individual
  • Advanced computer skills with high proficiency in programs such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, etc.
  • Expertise with digital document processing; Ability to access, download, upload, and organize digital documents via FTP sites.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work over 40 hours per week (if necessary) in order to meet deadlines and needs of customer
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Remote work is not offered
