Responsibilities:

• Direct safety programs for the facility
• Lead compliance with OSHA regulations
• Maintain OSHA documents
• Maintain/inspect machines, equipment, and working conditions to ensure it is up to OSHA standards
• Regularly inspects operations of the plant to assure compliance in both operation and equipment
• Analyze incidents to reduce exposures
• Communicate safety policies to current and new personnel
• Reports potential violations and make corrections when needed
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate with employees
• Submit performance reports
• Check that production output is up to specifications
• Identify efficiency issues and make suggestions to improve
• Train new employees to use machinery safely and correctly

Qualifications:

• Experience in Electronic Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA, accident investigations, and safety training
• Ability to identify weak points in processes and organizational structures
• Standard computer skills
• Ability to present info and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and professional journals
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
