Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels on residential and commercial properties.
Duties:
- Install solar panels according to engineering design and manufacturer specifications.
- Work on construction sites to mount panels on roofs or other structures.
- Perform electrical wiring and connection of solar panels to inverters.
- Conduct testing of systems using tools such as voltmeters.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for installation purposes.
- Utilize power tools for fixture installation and assembly.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites preferred.
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems and wiring.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics.
- Ability to work at heights on roofs for panel installation.
- Competency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a construction environment.
