The employee is a midstream construction company that specializes in construction of natural gas reciprocating compressor stations, natural gas turbine compressor stations, meter and pump stations associated with oil & gas industry. This position is a liaison with the Superintendent in the field and Corporate Management and Client Project Managers. Must have some oil and gas experience as above. Job is located in Abilene TX and candidate must reside in Abilene.

Project management responsibilities include the following:

· Manage projects from the corporate office

· Communicate with customer’s project manager concerning all matters associated with their respective project (e.g. schedule, on-site issues, extra work, permitting, etc.)

· Collaborate with scheduling, as necessary, to develop, review and maintain project schedules

· Work closely with field supervision

· Keep projects on track with the use of project controls

· Take charge and complete other tasks associated with project management

· Travel as needed

· Other tasks associated with project management

Project manager skills include:

· Excellent writing and communication skills for writing procedures and policies

· Ability to take lead on a project

· Proficient in Excel, MS Project, Word

· Excellent skills at interpreting construction drawings

· Ability to understand scope of work documents

· Excellent time management & organizational skills

· Ability to develop project specific plans as necessary

· Ability to work in a team environment
