Position Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Sales / Business Development to join our team. This individual will oversee the sales team and be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local referral partners and healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving patient referrals, conducting market research, and developing marketing strategies to enhance our sales and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Team Oversight:

- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to improve team efficiency and performance.

- Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

2. Market Research:

- Identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.

- Analyze data to make informed strategic decisions and identify areas for growth and improvement.

- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.

3. Referral Relations:

- Establish and nurture relationships with local healthcare organizations and other referral partners.

- Develop and execute strategies to increase patient referrals from existing and new partners.

- Organize and attend networking events, meetings, and presentations to promote our services.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with Founder on sales vision and strategy.

- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with company goals.

- Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on progress and challenges.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in the healthcare or bio-medical industry.

- Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and driving business growth.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, startup environment.
