Medical Assistant - Experienced
Busy Cardiac and Vascular practice is looking to hire an experienced and talented individual to assist the team as a Certified Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• obtaining vitals- manual blood pressure is a requirement
• extensively reviewing past medical history
• obtaining and confirming accurate medications list
• refilling prescriptions
• performing EKGs- experience required
• manual blood pressure readings
• phoning patients with test results
• updating patient chart in EMR
• other duties befitting a medical assistant.

Excellent EMR and computer skills a must. The ideal candidate is an individual that is professional, organized, outgoing, enjoys working with patients, and a self-starter.

Must be able to obtain accurate, manual BPs and be very adept at EKGs.

Clinic hours are 8 to 5 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8 to 1. Availability for arrival 730/745 is required as well as the ability to remain at the clinic until listed closing time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Experience:

• EMR Systems: 2 years (Required)
• Vital Signs Experience including Manual BP: 2 years (Required)
• Outpatient Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Office Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
