You will be an integral part of a team, and if you aren't a team player or struggle to ask for help, this position isn't for you. We need someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, even when recognition is not always immediate, because you value doing the right thing. This position is not for an on-site manager. You will be part of a team managing properties all over San Gabriel Valley. Everything from single family homes to buildings with 30 units.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including leasing, showings, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Manage the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and screening potential tenants.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management is preferred but not required. If you think you’re up for the challenge, we encourage you to apply.
- Strong communication skills to interface effectively with tenants and landlords.
- Proficiency in property management software, particularly Appfolio.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with property leasing laws, regulations, and Fair Housing.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address tenant issues and resolve conflicts.
