ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team!

1. Change gears.
2. Assist in cylinder and anilox changes.
3. Assist in cleaning ink stations and preparing stations for the next order.
4. Prepare mill rolls for press.
5. Remove, prepare and store finished rolls.
6. Monitor and control inks pH and Viscosity.
7. Wash and remove plates from the previous jobs; apply green-back and store.
8. Prepare plates and gears on the correct cylinders for the next order.
9. Have the correct ink available for the next order.
10. Have the correct paper ready to go on the press (on turret, if applicable) for the next order.
11. Have pump washes and deck cleaning supplies ready for the next change.
12. Assist all press operators as needed.
13. Be prepared to fill in as an operator when needed.
14. Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
15. Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
16. Work as a team member, and participate in all activities in the press department.
17. Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
18. Assist in Training.

• High School GED or Diploma
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college preferred
• Two or three years of work experience in a related industry
• Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training
• Work experience with computers and other business equipment
• This position requires the annual completion of Hazardous Waste Management training – provided by ProAmpac
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of organization
• Good organizational skills
