Job Description
The Diagnostic Engineer - C-Arms plays a crucial role in ensuring the full functionality of procured used C-Arm systems and parts. The Diagnostic Engineer - C-Arms will also perform C-Arm part testing validation in addition to troubleshooting and will properly diagnose issues and perform repairs/replacements where needed. The Diagnostic Engineer - C-Arms will possess a detailed system knowledge of C-Arm functionality, and the ability to correctly validate system functionality across multiple models and manufacturers. The Diagnostic Engineer - C-Arms will also be responsible for diagnosing and pinpointing system issues in order to determine the proper workflows. They will also assist in system part recovery (harvest), basic system repairs, technical phone support, and basic system part testing.

Job Description

Job Duties
- Performs and logs daily safety checks of systems and tools
- Validates system and part functionality through proven test procedures
- Proper identifies all failures, if applicable
- Maintains clean and organized workstation
- Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulations
- 100% ESD compliance when handling parts
- Must be comfortable assisting/researching/solving technical questions over phone
- Must be able to validate and confirm part numbers in Salesforce using manuals, online resources, etc.
- Successfully troubleshoots all issues of systems/parts, resolving issues in a timely manner
- Manages tools and repair inventory needs
- Properly follows repair priority process in addition to system workflow procedures
- Assists in part packaging/proper labeling if needed
- Will assist in the physical removal of parts from imaging systems using a variety of tools and methods
- Properly identifies parts from systems using parts manuals, online resources, and historical system information
- Ensures all recoverable parts are properly removed and logged in work order system
- Ensures quality through proper removal
Minimum Qualification:
- Associates Degree in Electronics with relative experience
- 2-3 years professional service or repair experience with C-Arm imaging systems
- Possess detailed functional knowledge of C-Arm imaging systems
- Proven experience in medical imaging testing, repair, or upkeep
- Proven ability to read and understand schematics
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
- Experience with customer technical support a plus
- Experience in ISO certification(s) and document writing a plus
