POSITION SUMMARY

The SQL Developer (E-commerce) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases tailored for e-commerce applications. This role includes writing complex SQL queries to support business requirements, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity and security. The developer will work closely with application developers and other stakeholders to ensure the database structures support the e-commerce environment effectively.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and database design.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in an e-commerce environment and understanding of e-commerce data structures.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a changing environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends as necessary to meet deadlines or solve critical issues.
