Job Title: Full-Time School Occupational Therapist

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a school occupational therapist, you will work with students to help them achieve their fullest potential in academic, social, and daily living activities. Your role will involve assessing students' needs, creating personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to provide the best support for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' needs in various environments (e.g., classroom, playground).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' development.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide recommendations.
  • Educate and train school staff and parents on how to support students' needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license to practice occupational therapy in Pennsylvania.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
