Procare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Valley Center, CA. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and healthcare needs.
• Administer medication, treatments, and medical interventions as prescribed by medical professionals and in compliance with school policies.
• Monitor and assess student health conditions and promptly respond to any medical emergencies that may arise.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid and current California Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations and guidelines.
