Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 24/25 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. Located in North Chicago, IL, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment dedicated to fostering student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and intervention services to support students' social and emotional well-being
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate interventions
• Support the implementation of school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
