Your Impact:

• Role: Full-time position in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.
• Setting: Onsite, delivering essential speech therapy services across K-12 grades.
• Focus: Assisting K-12 students with diverse speech and language needs.
• Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of around 45 students.

What You'll Do:

• Therapy Services: Deliver therapy sessions with a focus on meeting the unique needs of each student.
• Manage Caseload: Provide individualized attention to approximately 45 students.
• Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide comprehensive support.
• Monitor Progress: Document and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
• Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

A Day in the Life: Start your day with a warm welcome from your colleagues and students. Mornings might include delivering tailored therapy sessions to K-12 students. During lunch, collaborate with teachers and parents to discuss strategies and progress. Continue with therapy sessions and planning in the afternoon. Conclude each day knowing you've made a significant impact.

What Were Looking For:

• Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Alaska.
• Experience: Experience in school settings preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage with diverse student populations.
