School Psychologist Job Overview:

• Location: La Grange, IL
• Dates: September 30, 2024 - January 24, 2025
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
• Caseload:
  • Serving two buildings: a middle school (grades 7-8) and an elementary school (grades K-6)
  • Total of approximately 450 students between both schools
• Responsibilities:
  • Conduct special education evaluations
  • Facilitate data review and problem-solving meetings
  • Support student services team members

Requirements:

• Must hold an active School Psychologist license in Illinois
• Certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois, which typically includes:
  • A master's or higher degree in School Psychology
  • Completion of an approved School Psychology program
  • Successful completion of a supervised internship
  • Passing the School Psychologist examination
• Experience in K-8 settings preferred
• Strong skills in evaluation, problem-solving, and collaboration
