Job Description:ProCare Therapyis looking fora dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and ensuring they achieve academic and personal growth. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing tailored instructional strategies, and collaborating with a team of educators and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Washington teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
