Position Details:

• Location: North Providence, RI
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Grade Levels: All Grades
• Classroom Setting: Intensive Academic Support Classroom
  • Classroom Number: 10 Students
  • Hours: 8:55 AM to 3:12 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Requirements: All Grades Special Education, Severe Intellectual Disability Certification
  • Support Staff: Multiple support staff are embedded in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students with severe intellectual disabilities
• Collaborate with support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other educators and specialists

Qualifications:

• RI Special Education Certification with a focus on Severe Intellectual Disabilities
• Experience working in an intensive academic support classroom
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
