Remote Speech-Language Pathologist - 1.0 FTE
ProCare Therapy has partnered with a great school district in the Tacoma, WA, area that is looking to hire a remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 2024-2025, full-time opening. Job Details:
- Full-time, 2024-2025 School Year
- 8:30am-4:30pm
- Caseload: Up to 45 students
- Dual program at two schools and this would focus on a single Elementary School.
- Hourly rate: $52-$57/hr paid weekly
- Covers direct and indirect services
- This open role is an independent contractor position Liability insurance- professional and general, is required from the independent contractor
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
- Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication virtually. Collaborate remotely with teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.
Experience:
Two years of previous experience in a school-based setting is required.Certification:
- Washington Speech Language Pathologist License
- WA Educational Staff Associate (ESA) through OSPI
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
