Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Illinois Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is pleased to announce remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions available for the 2024-2025 school year in partnership with a leading Illinois school district. Position Overview:

• Grade Levels: K-12
• Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Work Location: Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• IEP Development: Contribute to the development of the IEP, including goals, modifications, and learning styles.
• Consultation: Collaborate with diagnosticians, classroom teachers, related service therapists, students, and parents to ensure appropriate evaluations, modifications, and test administration.
• Testing Materials: Obtain modified standardized testing materials and assist in test administration as needed.
• Liaison Role: Act as a liaison with other agencies in the vocational assessment process.
• Time Management: Efficiently schedule time for assessment, instruction, planning, preparation of materials, travel, and conferences with relevant school personnel and stakeholders.
• Parental Contact: Maintain ongoing communication with parents to support their understanding of their childs abilities, progress, and future goals.
• Training Programs: Provide in-service training for school personnel and students, and educate parents on the needs of speech-impaired students and available adaptations, programs, and services.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders.
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience: 2 years of remote experience. Previous experience in a school setting is required.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid SLP license in Illinois and all required state credentials.
