POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Specialist is responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. Additionally, this position participates in the daily trouble-ticket workflow; interfacing with end-users regularly to bring resolution to their issues. A successful candidate is someone who seamlessly bridges the gap between technical knowledge and user satisfaction. They are a valuable asset to our team, helping ensure reliable IT operations while providing exceptional support to keep the company running efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Assists in maintaining server infrastructure
o Maintain Active Directory
o Operates a virtual server environment
Brings end-user trouble tickets to resolution
o Assists with onboarding of new users
o Provides prompt support to users via email, phone, and other electronic means.
o Owns complex issues through resolution.
o Troubleshoot complex issues autonomously, work independently to meet deadlines.
Develops documentation.
o Develops and maintains network diagrams.
o Documents technical specifications and detailed work instructions.
o Maintains clear and detailed documentation of enhancements, customizations.
Monitors system performance to ensure proper operation.
o Provides technical guidance for software maintenance or use.
o Identifies and recommends process efficiencies
o Resolves critical and high priority incidents
o Maintains proper system access for all users and roles
