DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The IT Specialist is responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. Additionally, this position participates in the daily trouble-ticket workflow; interfacing with end-users regularly to bring resolution to their issues. A successful candidate is someone who seamlessly bridges the gap between technical knowledge and user satisfaction. They are a valuable asset to our team, helping ensure reliable IT operations while providing exceptional support to keep the company running efficiently.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Assists in maintaining server infrastructure
- Maintain Active Directory
- Operates a virtual server environment
- Brings end-user trouble tickets to resolution
- Assists with onboarding of new users
- Provides prompt support to users via email, phone, and other electronic means.
- Owns complex issues through resolution.
- Troubleshoot complex issues autonomously, work independently to meet deadlines.
- Develops documentation.
- Develops and maintains network diagrams.
- Documents technical specifications and detailed work instructions.
- Maintains clear and detailed documentation of enhancements, customizations.
- Monitors system performance to ensure proper operation.
- Provides technical guidance for software maintenance or use.
- Identifies and recommends process efficiencies
- Resolves critical and high priority incidents
- Maintains proper system access for all users and roles
