We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant 3 to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the possibility of extension beyond the initial 12-month period. You will be working under the supervision of Brian Miller in Greensboro, North Carolina. Duties:
- Performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment.
- Records observations and measurements and reports results.
- Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment.
- Assists with the receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to maintain an accessible and organized workspace.
