Job Description

We’re looking for a Sr. Content Designer to join our incredible Product Design organization at Procore.

As a Sr. Content Designer, you will partner with product designers, researchers, and engineers to build incredible user experiences within the Procore app. Our team focuses on human-centered content that puts our users at the center of every product interaction.

About you: You’re a skilled communicator who can create and implement content experiences by creating a clear vision and getting buy-in. You love understanding users, and turning complex workflows into product experiences that people love. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Figma, AI, prompt engineering, and design systems. 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Content Design and will be based in our Austin, TX Procore office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Own an area of our product, driving content strategy and design with your product team, then sharing your work with the Content Design team

• Create and implement content design while collaborating Product Design, PM, and Engineering teams to concept, wireframe, and create content for in-app experiences

• Influence strategic decisions across teams and within products to drive business goals, improve the overall product experience, and ensure content consistency

• Write clear and concise content across multiple touch points in the user experience, personalized to our key personas

• Work closely with our Design System teams to understand and document content patterns, character limits and considerations, and maintain our library of design components

• Potential to support AI efforts, including prompt engineering and content strategy as we develop new experiences

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Communication, Digital Content Strategy, or another related area of study such as Journalism

• 3-5 years of experience as a content lead, with a focus in delivering content strategies, writing product copy, technical copy, or UX writing

• A portfolio of content work, including content strategy deliverables and copywriting

• Experience with Figma, AI, and design systems a plus

• Proven experience writing technical content (UI copy, help documentation, FAQs, and more) in a fast-paced environment

• Technical aptitude, and ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools

• Experience implementing voice and tone guidelines, style guides, and writing processes that improve content quality across products and tools

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Curiosity about the way people think and human behavior to help drive product experiences that our users love

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $134,800 - $185,350. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
