SummaryAt TAIT it is our commitment to create moments that move people. A Producer at productionglue (a TAIT company) loves "big picture" planning & overall project organization. This role will be part of our corporate events team, focusing on large scale conferences, non-profit events, award shows, galas, and similar style events. This individual enjoys being the liaison between client & internal teams to bring a project to life, on time, on budget, and in accordance with company standards. They oversee all aspects from the initial phase of creative conception, all the way through onsite execution. They are a Champion of the TAIT brand driving integration and brand awareness for the company no matter the project they are focused on. This highly collaborative, flexible and team-oriented individual is adaptable in a high-stress environment with last minute changes.
NYC or DC area strongly preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Day-to-day management of assigned projects – overseeing all elements from timelines, staffing, creative, onsite logistics, and guest experience
  • Liaise between client, internal teams, and event partners to ensure projects are completed on time & on budget
  • Effectively communicate a client's vision & collaborate internally to develop creative concepts & implement clear plans of action to meet brand objectives
  • Own budgets & timelines, offering suggestions for efficiencies & feasibility
  • Oversee the development of show documents, communication strategy, ground plans & layouts, creative concepts, staffing, onsite security & logistics, transportation, catering, etc.
  • Manage expectations, provide feedback, and anticipate challenges before they arise
  • Contribute to the RFP process, offering suggestions for improvement & leading the charge as needed
  • Research, venue scout, and participate in brainstorming sessions & client meetings as required
  • Ask questions, seek feedback, and action changes
  • Comfortable working in an office setting, as well as from more rigorous & non-traditional onsite environments
  • Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Have outstanding organizational skills & great attention to detail
  • Comfortable multi-tasking & working graciously in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in live events/entertainment/theater/production
  • Experience preparing budgets, managing them, and maintaining their profit margins
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in Slack
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (nights & weekends) as required
  • NYC or DC area strongly preferred

Salary Range
  • $90,000-$115,000 DOE
