Position SummaryThe role of an Engineering intern is to create electrical design of PLC-based systems, Electrical and Instrumentation systems for various sites. Key deliverables will be cable schedules and interconnect diagrams developed with engineering requirements.

Position SummaryThe role of an Engineering intern is to create electrical design of PLC-based systems, Electrical and Instrumentation systems for various sites. Key deliverables will be cable schedules and interconnect diagrams developed with engineering requirements.
Position Responsibilities
- Designs and drafting of wiring diagrams based on input from the PROENERGY Engineering team members, and end-user, if applicable.
- Produces technical drawings to support construction with high reliability and in compliance with field requirements
- Checks drawings, parts lists, and cable schedules for accuracy and thoroughness and notifies the Design Engineer or Engineering Manager of any non-conformance within the engineering system.
- Attends design reviews as required.
- Technical or Trade School enrollment with at least 1 year coursework in AutoCAD Electrical Design work.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience/proficiency with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Electrical CAD design for schematics, cable schedules and wiring diagrams
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, logic drawings, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
