Professional Body Works is Hiring an Auto Body Technician Near Wichita, KS
Responsibilities:
- Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment
- Replace or repair auto glass as needed
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as necessary
- Fabricate and weld metal components
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and methods
- Proficient in using power tools and airless paint spraying equipment
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
Note: Experience as a mechanic or in a dealership setting is a plus.
