We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Leader to develop and lead a high-performance Operations team. This role involves creating and implementing top-tier operations processes, managing financial and project reporting, and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the financial team. The ideal candidate will have strong operations management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Train and develop a high-performance Operations team.
- Establish clear goals and standards, fostering continuous learning and professional development.
- Process and Procedure Implementation:
- Create and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure thorough documentation.
- Financial Coordination:
- Collaborate with the financial team on accounting tasks, cost reports, WIP, CSRs, and monthly forecasts.
- Train the team on budget preparation and financial reporting techniques.
- Project Management:
- Oversee budget preparation, billings, change orders, and subcontractor negotiations.
- Monitor labor hours, project costs, and ensure timely procurement.
- Contract and Procurement Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, owners, and vendors.
- Ensure conformance with agreements and timely procurement procedures.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Establish KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide feedback and adjust processes as needed.
- Technology and Tools:
- Utilize project management and accounting software effectively.
- Implement collaboration tools to enhance team communication.
- Team Culture:
- Promote a positive work environment through team-building activities and recognition programs.
