Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX

Duty Hours: 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, not exceeding 40 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree: Master’s degree in nursing
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE
• Experience: Demonstrated clinical competency within the past two years
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a nurse practitioner
• Certification:
• Acute Care & Adult Nurse Practitioners: ANCC certification
• Family Practice Nurse Practitioners: ANCC or AANP certification
• Women's Health Nurse Practitioners: NCC certification
• All Nurse Practitioners: Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess women’s health and develop care plans based on patient/family needs
• Diagnose and treat minor/acute and chronic OB-GYN conditions
• Collaborate with physicians on patient management and refer complex cases
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Document patient observations, treatments, and plans in medical records
• Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and risk management processes
• Offer telephone and secure messaging consultations
• Facilitate referrals to external agencies and in-house services
• Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures
• Prescribe therapies and ensure compliance with care standards
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and participate in committee activities
• Maintain professional competency through ongoing education and training

Pay: $158,932.00 - $167,294.00 per year
