Professional Search Network is Hiring a Human resource specialist Near Union, NJ

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for completing clerical duties for the human resources department. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to employees, assisting the HR Manager with recruiting candidates for open roles, and supporting payroll processing functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist management with implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintain employee files and data such as personal information, payroll changes, and benefits information revisions.
  • Help educate employees about benefit programs (e.g., healthcare, retirement savings) and maintain related files.
  • Monitor the timekeeping system daily to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Process new hourly hires and terminations; assist with onboarding and training.
  • Support hourly staffing through resume reviews, phone screening, and other recruiting tasks.
  • Manage temporary labor staffing.
  • Address daily employee relations issues and concerns.
  • Maintain various recurring and ad hoc HR, OSHA, and payroll-related reports.
  • Assist with safety incident reporting and tracking.
  • Lead employee engagement activities.

Education and / or Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
