Opportunity at Intertek-PSI in Kennesaw, GA
Join our team at PSI, an Intertek Company, where we specialize in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Environmental Engineering, and Building Sciences as part of Intertek's ATIC Building and Construction Services. We are currently looking for an experienced Geotechnical Department Manager to support our operations in Kennesaw, GA.
Responsibilities

• Manage Geotechnical Engineering Services and oversee the operations in Georgia.
• Lead Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration, and laboratory services.
• Review proposals and reports, ensuring client commitments are met.
• Drive client relations and business development activities.
• Mentor and train professional staff and technicians.
• Engage in professional and technical organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical Engineering preferred).
• 5-10 years of Geotechnical experience.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on meeting client needs in South Florida.
• Fluency in English required.
• GDOT Experience preferred.
