Financial Operations Assistant - UniversitySetting

We are seeking a highlyskilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to oversee aspecific special project for the company.

The Financial Operations Assistantwill play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the office,including ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures, andsupporting strategic financial decision-making.

This position offers anexciting opportunity for an individual with strong analytical abilities,excellent communication skills, and a passion for finance to contribute to thesuccess of this institute-wide climate initiative.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the financial activities includingbudgeting, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring
• Collaborate with departmental leadership todevelop annual budgets aligned with strategic priorities and institutionalguidelines
• Ensure compliance with policies, sponsorregulations, accounting standards, and institutional financial policies
• Provide training and support to departmentalstaff on financial policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance andefficiency

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting,business administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financialmanagement, accounting, or related field
• Proficiency in financial and reportingsoftware applications (e.g., SAP, Brio, Cognos)
