The ideal candidate will be ready to lead a team of tax professionals, as well as drive the continued growth and success of the tax practice. Responsibilities include leading a team of tax professionals, and assisting clients and team with tax planning, research and communications in all areas of tax services (including individual, partnership, corporate, trusts and estates).

Job qualifications

• Valid CPA or Enrolled Agent license required
• Seven or more years of comprehensive tax experience within a tax or accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Experience managing multiple client engagements
• Demonstrated success in leading professional teams
• LaCerte and QuickBooks experience highly preferred
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated proficiency in meeting deadlines with a team approach
• Efficient analytical, problem-solving, written and oral skills

Responsibilities

• Successfully lead tax practice associates and administrative personnel
• Research and analyze changes in tax regulation and strategically develop practice skills to meet changing needs
• Develop in-depth understanding of client businesses and help identify needs/opportunities, partner with clients to implement effective solutions
• Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax returns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
