Position: Machine Assembler
Location: Hudson, OH
Salary: Depends on experiencePOSITION SUMMARY: Assembles mixers for rubber and plastic industry
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Able to assemble heavy/large equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Able to read micrometers and dial indicators
- Able to do some stick welding (i.e. for mounting of brackets)
- Able to do piping and tubing for grease systems
- Able to use various hand and power tools
- Able to operate overhead cranes and powered industrial trucks
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to use and wear safety equipment (i.e. respirator, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, etc.)
- Able to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Assemble mixer parts and machinery from blueprints
- Operate tow motor to transfer parts within the plant
- Use an overhead crane to lift and move parts
- Tear down and clean parts as needed
- Paint parts by hand or use a spray gun in the paint booth
- Physical demand requirement: Medium
- This position works in a team of at least two employees.
