LOCATION: Remote or Hybrid (Montgomery Park for Hybrid)
PAY: Target pay for this role is $65-$85 per hour, but may vary based on experience
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract 3-6 months
What You’ll Be DoingAs an Azure DevOps Engineer - Databricks Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, configuring Azure Databricks environments, and optimizing data workflows in a cloud-based infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for DevOps processes, focusing on automation and scalability using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for data processing and analytics
- Configure and maintain Azure Databricks environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or ARM templates
- Optimize data workflows for performance, security, and availability
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with teams to enhance DevOps processes
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Azure Databricks environments
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or similar data warehouses
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect)
