Programmer Resources International Inc (PRI Inc.) is Hiring an IT Department Manager - Cloud Data Engineering Near St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities
**This position offers a hybrid work environment which includes the ability to work from home, but will also require an on-site presence as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Cloud Data Engineering team builds and supports the data assets and APIs in the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) used by strategic solutions such as Greenlight, Game Plan, 1RM, and more. Additionally, these data assets are used by Data & Analytics to build Reporting, Analytics, and Data Science solutions for the business. With the increasing inventory, complexity, and business criticality of these data assets we are creating a new team within Cloud Data Engineering to deliver top of the line support for these critical capabilities. The creation of this new team opens up an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, highly resilient, customer service-focused, and inspirational leader for the IT Department Manager role leading the Cloud Data Engineering Application Service Delivery.
The Cloud Data Engineering team currently includes 6 Domain teams focused on building data assets and APIs to support numerous EM business areas including Rental, Revenue Management, Vehicle, and Marketing, Mobility, and Business Administration. As new capabilities are created by these teams, they will be transitioned over to the new Support team to ensure they get the dedication and focus needed to ensure high performance SLAs are met for the business. The Cloud Data Engineering Application Service Delivery will partner with the Domain and Data Engineering DevOps teams to ensure successful transition of solutions that are operating optimally.
As this is a brand-new team in Cloud Data Engineering the IT Department Manager will be joining at the ground level and will get to play a key role in defining the organization structure. Moreover, this leader will require a laser focus on and improving the support processes, procedures, and staffing of this new team. Key additional responsibilities are highlighted below:
Building a geographically diverse team to provide 24 by 7 solution support while maintaining a healthy work life balance for the team members
Managing support incidents and alerts; ensuring they get the correct priority and response
Resolve issues that arise quickly and efficiently to minimize business impact
Ensure proper escalation and communication take place for any incidents
Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution to minimize issue re-occurrence
Publish regular health reporting (no less than quarterly) on the health of the EDL applications, to include performance against application and support process SLAs.
Partner with the Domain Teams and Data Engineering DevOps to ensure all production processes have the necessary monitors and alerts in place and performance metrics are tracked
Partner with the Domain Teams and Data Engineering DevOps to ensure the EDL infrastructure components are kept up to date and current to ensure we maintain support from our vendors
Work on small to medium sized Product Optimization efforts for the EDL solutions
Service requests for small to med sized data fixes and other ad hoc business requests
Providing tracking, oversight and remediation of EDL application security vulnerabilities
Providing leadership and support for response to all compliance and audit activities
Oversee the development and professional growth of the team and supporting their career aspirations
Build and maintain relationships with counterparts in the other IT Solution teams that are leveraging EDL solutions and data assets
Exercise sound financial management practices, including accurate forecasting, resource capacity planning and expense management
Creating a positive environment, maintaining timely and transparent communications, and exercising transparent and frequent expectations management

Qualifications
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
8 years of related experience
5 years of success leading teams within a large enterprise IT organization
xcellent analytical and problem-solving skills as proven through past success supporting complex solutions
Proven leadership supporting complex solutions including experience supporting high volume mission critical workloads
Knowledge and familiarity with data engineering concepts and trends
Proven leadership, results orientation, self-motivation, and customer service focused
Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of the organization
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal designed to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen
High degree of collaboration skills; works well with others as it relates to generating ideas and solving problems
Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent high impact incidents to minimize business impact
Knowledge and experience with EM data across multiple domains
Strong skills and experience mentoring and developing IT professionals to ensure the team s success and enable the employees to achieve their career goals
Strong knowledge of incident and problem management business practices to ensure optimal outcomes and minimal problem re-occurrence

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred IT Department Manager - Cloud Data Engineering
