Progression3 is in search of a Senior Project Manager in Richmond Virginia on behalf of our public sector client.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of Project Management experience.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with process optimization, best practices, change management, facilitation and internal/external consulting is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of applications development.
- Risk management experience
- Experience managing projects of $5M or more.
Summary of role:
- The Project Manager will work with Business Analysts, program manager and serve as the liaison between the business community/end users and the IT organization.
- The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope, schedule and budget and reporting to IT management and the business stakeholders/owners on a weekly basis or as agreed upon.
