What are the responsibilities and job description for the LMHP PartTime position at Progressive Community Services?
Benefits:
(LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist). The Clinical assessor is responsible for conducting the initial screening,
intake, assessment, and diagnostic impression to ensure that and initial treatment plan is developed that will
identify the services needed for ongoing care. Clinical assessors are also responsible for the quality assurance of
services provided and medical records, coordinating care with other assigned clinicians, peer support, and medical
practitioners, working within the agencies systems of care network. Assessor performs a variety of clinical and
administrative work when it has been determined through an initial screening that the consumer has mental health
concerns. The purpose of the assessment process is to perform a formalized assessment in order to determine the
consumer's problems, strengths, needs, abilities and preferences, to develop a social (extent of natural supports
and community integration) and medical history, to determine functional level and degree of ability versus
disability, and to develop or review collateral assessment information. He/She will report directly to the QA
Director.
Work Part-Time Weekends and Evening Shifts
Meet with clients in person or virtually to conduct comprehensive mental health assessment
Complete assessment documentation in electronic health record (Lauris)
Gather information for submission of request of authorization to Medicaid MCOs
Electronically submit authorizations requests to MCOs
Communicate with assessment and supervisory team about the process
Provide crisis counseling/intervention and document accordingly, ensuring that crisis situations are handled
in a therapeutic manner and appropriate authorities are notified of such situations.
Develop clinically sound treatment plans and monitor that the treatment plan is being implemented.
Assist in making revisions/updates to treatment plan.
Promote the program in a positive manner to elicit referrals and maintain census and growth of the
program. (Ongoing)
Attend all annual mandatory agency training (Handle with Care, CPR & First Aid, Human Rights,
HIPAA, etc.) (As needed)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay:
If LMHP follows an MCR case the pay rate is $50
If LMHP follows a CS case the pay rate is 35$ per hour
Supervision rate $35
Expected hours: As needed for weekends 10am-6pm and Weekdays 10am-8pm
