The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, according to policy and procedure and ACLS protocol Must possess a current Arkansas Registered Nurse license and exhibit proficiency in nursing care and oral communications.
Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment with one year of emergency room experience and/or background in critical care.
Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Licenses/Certificates: Current license in the state of Arkansas; Current BLS or CPR (American Heart Association); ACLS,PALS, TNCC, NIHSS required (if not currently certified must complete within 90 days of hire or attend first available class)
