Certified Nursing Assistant – ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Smyrna, TN

We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will provide essential healthcare support to our manufacturing staff, ensuring their well-being and safety. This role involves performing health assessments, responding to medical emergencies, and promoting a healthy work environment. What will you be doing in this role?

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees for injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace
• Assist with health screenings and physical examinations
• Monitor and record employees' vital signs
• Administer medications as prescribed and authorized
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and healthcare providers
• Conduct health and safety training sessions for staff
• Support health and wellness programs
• Assist with workplace health initiatives and emergency response plans
• Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in TN
• Previous experience in an industrial or occupational health setting preferred
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• Previous occupational health experience is a plus
• A high degree of professionalism and customer service in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
