Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Training and Culture will implement strategies that support agency growth, improve employee retention, manage job satisfaction, and promote the agency’s mission and values.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement, and support ongoing education, training and employee engagement programs aimed at strengthening a growth mindset, inclusive behaviors and promoting equitable development opportunities for staff at all levels.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
  • Assist in creating and distributing training materials and resources to support learning initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding training inquiries and registration.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and experts for specialized training programs as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and participant feedback.
  • Develops and sustains strong relationships with management through proactive communication and commitment to understanding the needs of the Agency.
  • Assist and provide recommendations on improving the onboarding experience for all hires
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Assist with the developing and Implementing staff survey

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
