The QI Associate offers technical support across programs by performing QI/QA functions agency wide. Contractual requirements and mandates are reviewed and measured, in effort to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery outcomes. The mission of the QI Associate is threefold: improve, prevent,
and monitor by drawing on clinical practice.
Responsibilities:
1. The QI Associate will review and evaluate clinical documentation, as well as qualitative and
quantitative data to ensure programs are meeting contractual requirements and providing quality
care.
2. Internal reviews of EHR reports will guide the work of the QI Associate, and serve to enhance
internal audits processes across agency programs (familiarity with funder guidelines
recommended i.e. DOHMH, OMH, OASAS, HUD)
3. The QI Associate will perform internal audits and summarize report findings, as well as establish
contract/funder specific interventions/recommendations in effort to improve performance.
4. The QI Associate will be accountable for the timely and accurate production of routine case
record reports and collaborate on special projects as needed.
5. The QI Associate may facilitate QI focused training and integrate QI tools into program
workflows agency wide as requested/needed.
6. The ideal candidate understands the need for programmatic workflow efficiencies and is familiar
with data collection best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Qualifications:
The QI Associate shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the agency and the clients that we serve. The agency reserves the right to review and change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
