```Duties```

- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities

- Services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in their own home or an Alternative Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) setting.

- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social interactions

- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Document and report on individuals' progress and any incidents or concerns

```Qualifications```

- Experience or education in special education, social work, or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities and understanding their unique needs

- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with individuals, families, and team members

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus

- Strong caregiving skills and the ability to provide emotional support to individuals and their families

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others

Pay: $15.50 - $15.90 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
