Summary/objectiveAs the Student Program Coordinator, your main duties will consist of direct support to our student employees; recruiting students and attending career fairs; building strong relationships with local school districts and community colleges; and ensuring our students have the soft skills that is needed to be successful in the workplace. You will be the person that works directly with the school systems participating in the program.Essential functions• Manage, coordinate, and oversee the student program.• Acts as the liaison between the students and school systems.• Provide administrative support and coaching to students.• Oversees the recruitment and hiring process.• Ensure the right and suitable students are selected for the program.• Attend job and career fairs on behalf of the company.• Providing guidance and instruction to students about the company’s policies and procedures.• Conduct a 20-minute Professional Class Skills at least twice a week for students.• Help build positive relations with the students, school systems and local community colleges.• Other duties as assigned.Requirements• A.S. Degree or BS Preferred (Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, Social Services, or a related field)• Prior experience working with children/adolescents/students.• Interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary students.• Detailed oriented and efficient• Excellent time management and organizational skills• Administrative and clerical skills• Self-motivatedPhysical Factors:• Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment.• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Position Type:• Full-time• Monday-Friday 10am-7pm (Must have flexibility with hours)
