Our core business provides Maximo, the best-in-class Enterprise Asset Management software from IBM, as a cloud software as a service (SaaS) solution. This position is for an experienced person to be responsible for the finance function across the USA. The position requires the coordination of the various financial roles in the USA, working to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in the country and consolidating across the group to feed into the Annual Financial Audit ultimately. The CFO directly manages the position but reports to and works with the US Leadership Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and monitor processes to input financial information into the various systems correctly
  • Ensure that period processing occurs in the USA and co-ordinates across the group
  • Validate financial data across the USA
  • Manage annual financial statement production across the group
  • Maintain segregation of duties to retain optimum review capabilities.
  • Process the monthly reporting for the US consolidated group Review by the 25th of each month
  • Review Financials with the Global Finance Team
  • Maintain MRR sheets for each US entity
  • Ensure that consistent accounting policies are implemented across the US group that meet local requirements and group audit requirements
  • Management of USA cashflow
  • Monitor and ensure tax compliance across the US group
  • Assist with Group Audit
  • Assist with US Tax queries
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes (eg, Payroll in the UK)
  • Review monthly processes with a view to automation where possible
  • Optimisation of the Transaction Evidence Trail to minimize Audit requests
  • Liaise with agencies/advisors as required. Work as part of the Finance & Admin Team. Maintain working relationships with cCEOs and the Group Administration Manager.
Key Competencies:
  • Relevant university degree and/or professional qualifications in Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years Accountancy Experience
  • Ability to contribute to the Executive Management Team
  • Knowledge of Leading Accounts packages
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Skills
  • Working Knowledge of Financial Standards
