Join our team as a Registered Nurse in our Short Stay unit, where you will provide care to patients with an expected stay of 24-48 hours. Responsibilities include perioperative assessments, administering medications, preparing labs, and patient preparation. This role may also involve taking on charge nurse duties.

Available Shifts:

• Night Shift - 7PM to 7AM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and prepare for surgery.
• Manage medications, IVs, and lab tests.
• Oversee care for short-stay surgical or medical patients.
• Occasionally assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Active RN License in NC.
• BLS Certification.
• 1 year of recent OR experience.
• Associate degree in Nursing; must enroll in a BSN program within 4 years and complete within 7 years.

Unit Overview:

• 10-bed Med Surg unit.
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5.
