Now Hiring for a Material Handler
Great opportunity downtown Louisville looking for someone who wants to grow, paying $15.91
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English for safety and training purposes. *
Basic duties for coil preparation in the coil prep, hanging and crating areas.
General Duties
- Evaluate the work area(s) to ensure it is safe
- Wear the proper PPE for the work performed
- Participate in Safety Training
- Attach identifying tags or labels to coils or mark information on crates, pallets, or other containers as required.
- Ensure area meets the 5S standards and look for ways to improve
- Provide feedback for ideas to improve the process
- Open/Close crates or containers containing coils or other customer products.
- Lift coils, by hand, as necessary to load / unload load bars or to load / unload from crates.
- Secure or remove lifting attachments.
- Follow oral instructions of lead person in work area.
- Follow published work instructions, quality procedures, and safety protocols.
- Clean work area and equipment as needed.
- Substitute for material handlers in other work areas as required.
