JOB DESCRIPTION:P.E. Labellers is seeking a talented Electrical/Mechanical Technician to analyze and correct production machines which require the knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical principles in accordance with production specifications and quality standards. The job will also assist in maintaining the Plant’s electrical systems to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting, and other electrical applications. The position reports to the Plant manager
  • Responsible for the mechanical assembly of products under the direct supervision of mechanical/electrical leads and/or supervisors
  • Read and interpret shop assembly drawings
  • Mechanical knowledge needed to fabricate and install conduit, wire harnesses, electrical panels, etc.
  • Mechanical installation includes: lube lines, cams, align and adjust gearboxes and drive lines, motors, chain, sprockets, etc.
  • Assist in the test and final adjustments of machines.
  • Take a Support role in Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Follow and adhere to all P.E. USA Quality and Assembly standards.
  • Follow all safety standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Vocational or high school graduate plus an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent appropriate training required.
  • Excellent trouble shooting abilities.
  • Good mental and visual abilities, with good dexterity and high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of single and three-phase motor controls.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, ability to perform testing/troubleshooting.
  • Good math skills which includes knowledge of fraction principles.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role, ability to work with a team as well as independently, goal oriented.
  • Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
  • Good organizational skills, self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
