Promenade at University Place is currently searching for a caring, compassionate RN/LPN to serve as Wellness Director. They should be a positive, upbeat professional who understands the special needs of an older adult population. This is a full-time, salaried position. Weekends and flexible hours may be required.

The Wellness Director would oversees all medical aspects of the community, such as the Wellness Department and staff, medication dispersment and ensuring that all state regulations are adhered to. They would also oversee all personal care services in for both our Assisted Living and Memory Care populations. They would be responsible for hiring and training of the personal care aides; annual review and ongoing coaching and counseling of the staff members. They would also maintain payroll records and the weekly staffing schedule.

Qualifications:

One (1) year experience in long term care or assisted living

Must be an RN or LPN in good standing in New York State

Supervisory and management experience-Will train the right candidate!

Ability to multi-task and to direct the work of others

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Has good organizational and time management skill
