Promontory Club is Hiring a GRAPHIC DESIGNER & EVENTS ASSISTANT Near Park, UT

PROMONTORY (Park City, Utah) – GRAPHIC DESIGNER & EVENTS ASSISTANTPromontory Club is looking for a creative GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join the in-house marketing team to promote and market all club communications for Promontory Club. This position is in-office, working in a collaborative environment with an exceptional team of marketing professionals (not a remote position).Promontory is a luxury, master planned community, and private club in Park City, and arguably the most amenity-rich club in the country. www.promontoryclub.com. With over 600 luxury homesites remaining to sell, a thriving home construction division (Promontory Homes), a broad array of private club amenities, and an active resale market, marketing experience in the high-end real estate market and private club/master planned community business is strongly preferred.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Graphic Designer should have strong design skills and experience in digital marketing is a plus. This person must have thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and experience with creating digital newsletters, eblasts, and other promotional materials. Photography and copywriting experience is a plus. To be successful in this role, you will need to be motivated, creative, forward thinking, and a team player.
The Graphic Designer will report to the Director of Marketing and will work alongside the marketing and events team. This position may also assist with various community/sales/club event planning, coordination & logistics during peak event seasons as well.
  • Design and deliver weekly club community newsletters, in-house marketing materials, and promotional materials.
  • Communicate with all departments to fulfill and support any internal marketing needs i.e., signage, brochures, business cards, menus, eBlasts, and miscellaneous collateral for events or other club needs.

Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Specalist Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field required.
  • Extensive knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Background in high-end real estate and private club/master planned community business is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, email marketing, social media marketing, and event marketing.
  • Knowledge of Zoho (or similar email marketing platform), Salesforce, and Northstar is a plus.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to help with content creation and execute/manage a marketing plan.
  • Effective time management, organization skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic.
  • Problem solving analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in social media marketing and email campaign marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with print marketing and print collateral creation and execution.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departments and vendors.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Job requires full time commitment in the Promontory office (not a remote position)
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit at a desk or in meetings for extended periods of time; ability to lift 15lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures and submit ideas for possible revision; work independently with little supervision; courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members and employees.
