As the VP of Talent Management and OD, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing talent programs, fostering leadership development, and driving initiatives to optimize employee performance and engagement.
Your day-to-day

As the VP of Talent Management and OD, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing talent programs, fostering leadership development, and driving initiatives to optimize employee performance and engagement.
Your day-to-day
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for talent management and organizational development initiatives aligned with Proofpoint's business goals and objectives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of talent programs, including performance management, succession planning, career development, and employee engagement strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to identify talent gaps, develop talent pipelines, and build programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Drive leadership development initiatives, including executive coaching, leadership assessments, and succession planning to build a strong leadership bench.
- Implement organizational development strategies to enhance culture, foster innovation, and drive change management initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, learning and development teams, and external consultants to design and deliver training programs and initiatives that promote skill development and career growth.
- Lead employee engagement surveys and assessments, analyze results, and develop action plans to address employee feedback and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with talent management practices, employment laws, and regulations, providing guidance and support to HR teams and business leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12 years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational development, and leadership development roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent management and organizational development strategies in a corporate or organizational setting.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable talent strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of talent management practices, leadership development methodologies, and organizational effectiveness strategies.
- Experience driving change management initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
